gizmeo.com

Hello dear readers!

We would like to inform you about the fact that we moved our Gadgets weblog Gizmeo.com to a whole new domain. It now resides under

Gizmeo.eu.

Visit the website clicking the hyperlink in the left sidebar under “Web References”.

All the articles, feeds, pages, images, etc., will be redirected and all search engines out there should change their respective listings the following weeks automatically.

This is one of our most important steps this year: As a young an independent publishing house from Europe with European roots, European heritage and defending an European future plus European culture, it is our duty to move away from commercial domains and use what’s representing us the most.

The most recent example is yaaby.eu, where our indie Android web browser YAABy is blogging.

We would be happy to see other publishing houses from Europe doing the same. As of the end of this month the domain will become 10 years old already! The thing is: To this day only 3.9 million such domains were registered. What a pity regarding 500 million residents in the EU!

We hope to be an inspiration to follow. Hint: Also aethyx.eu will become aethyx.eu as soon as possible.

Become independent from Verisign and the USA! Use more domains from your respective territory! Support more regional developers as well as companies!

Thanks for listening.

Kindest regards,
the aethyx staff

It is our second commercial project and one of our most important: The gadget blog gizmeo.com.

On April 2012 it will become two years old. But, unfortunately, up to this date it did not have the impact it could have received.

Maybe it is because there are so many gadget blogs out there. Maybe it is because it is in German. Internet trends do not seem to happen in this country.

Or, when they do, they do incredibly late. Compared to other developed countries Germany is not innovative enough in eMedia, although in 2011 65 Million people were online; roughly 80% percent of its population. We see that there is definitely potential, but do you remember a website or an eshop or an application from Germany which you use on the internet? There you go.

Anyway. We keep rolling. We are confident. We are the mediae. No matter where you are, where you are from or what you do: Just stay true and positive.

All the best,
aethyx staff

We are happy. R-e-a-l-l-y happy! Like, it’s-Xmas-happy. We just realized our second commercial project:

http://gizmeo.com.

Simply put, it is a brand new blog about gadgets.

Based on the gizmo-archive of cipha.de, it’s also kind of alternative and not very commercial. From a content-point-of-view. But the domain of course is and the future plans also. In 2050 we want to make money with it. 😉

We share the opinion that it is possible to built commercial projects with alternative contents. It’s part of our philosophy.

Mainstream is easy, just do porn.

It is the deepness that counts. To achieve this goal you have to think different. This is not just a slogan, it is part of our reality. We write, we shape it. And nothing else.

We will soon update the where?-page to give you further information about http://gizmeo.com, so stay tuned.

Keep being awesome!
All the best,
the aethyx staff
